What is Spookeasy?

Spookeasy is Santa Barbara's #1 Halloween Costume Party with live entertainment, bars, VIP lounge, dancing, food and more! This event is hosted by The High Society Club, a high-profile members only social club that hosts private and public events in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Denver, Austin, Manahattan and other cities around the United States.

What is the theme for Spookeasy?

Spookeasy will be themed like a Spooky Speakeasy. Dark, underground, plush leather lounge with a DJ, dancefloor and bars. While we don’t require our guests to follow the theme, our staff and performers will be decked out! Our visuals and decor will also be in theme to transform your entire experience into a Santa Barbara Halloween event to remember. Jump in if you like or get creative on your own or with a group of friends and come up with your own Halloween costume theme!

What is included with my GA ticket purchase?

All ticket purchases include general dmission access to the party at Spookeasy starting at 8pm. Food and Alcoholic Beverages will be available for purchase. Cash bars and food vendors take all major credit cards and cash. Buy tickets to Spookeasy 2019!

What is the entertainment?

One of the most common questions…Spookeasy will feature theatrical entertainment and Halloween themed decor throughout the venue. We will have a music on the mezzinine with Santa Barbara's best DJ’s creating an unrivaled dance party experience in multiple locations throughout the venue. Featured entertainment will be updated each day as we approach the day of the event here.

Do I have to wear a costume?

Not at all, but costumes ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Are there any restrictions on costumes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, toy or replica weapons (guns, knives, swords, etc.) are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated at the door. If your costume has these types of objects attached to it and you cannot remove them, you will be asked to leave the event.

What is the demographic for the party?

Accepted Answer

Spookeasy is a 21+ only event, and typically sees an age demographic of 24-38, although all ages over 21 are welcome! Spookeasy offers a great mix of DJ’s and live music that include genres like hip-hip, EDM, top 40, mash-up, and rock classics.

What is the Parking situation?

There is public parking lot #4 directly behind the venue at 1120 Chapala St with over 100 parking spaces. There is also a back entrance into the venue from that parking lot that will be open. There is also public parking lots #3 and #5 that are one bloack away on Chapala. Find a map of parking lots HERE. We highly encourage the use of ride shares or a designated driver if you plan to consume alcohol. There is a designated ride share drop off/ pick up onsite!

How do I get into the Party?

There is an entrance on State Street at 1117 State St. Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
 
The back entrance is from the parking lot accessible from 1120 Chapala St. Santa Barbara, CA 93101 for more of a Speakeasy type entrance.
 
You must print or show your E-Ticket on your phone at either door. Security will check ID to make sure you are over 21 years old and will check all purses/bags for weapons/drugs/alcohol.

What am I not allowed to bring?

NO outside alcohol permitted.
No drugs of any kind permitted.
NO weapons of any kind permitted. (Inluding Costume Replicas)
NO large purses or bags permitted. (Subject to Security Screening)
NO fireworks permitted.
